Lights Off

Overview

Lights Off is a non-profit organization aimed towards solving the issue of high power consumption. Through its branding, the organization informs and encourages people to save energy through lights in both cost-free and monetary ways, making it possible for anyone to save money while also saving the Earth.

Outcome

Developed clear brand identity with a consistent unplugging theme that speaks to the purpose of the brand: saving energy. Created various deliverables with recognizable icons and text that include easy ways to save energy, along with a chart comparison demonstrating why LED light bulbs are much more efficient and cost-friendly.

Logo & Concept

Being a call-to-action organization, I decided on a straightforward name that would speak for itself of what brand's purpose is. With this in mind, I came up with the name "Lights Off." The logo combines both a power button and a lightbulb, making it an intuitive and easily recognizable logo that effectively matches the brand's mission statement.

Project includes box packaging, brochure, poster, and magnets that guests can take home for free upon attending events.

The plug theme is emphasized through the separation within deliverables, such as unplugging that occurs when opening the gate-fold brochure and bringing the plug magnets apart.

Website

With the assets made for the Lights Off project originally, I later created a simple two page responsive website with HTML and CSS so that people could also access the information digitally.
